For network operators
Run a correction network? An operator account puts your casters under control: field reports route to you, you see an activity overview and you can help a user remotely.
Registration & subscription
Create an account via Start Fixcast for a network — signing in creates your network. Until the subscription is active the area works, but reports aren't delivered; delivery turns on once it's active. You see the state in the header (Active subscription / Inactive).
Network profile & contact
In Settings you fill in the network identity users see in reports:
- Name and logo — upload a file (max 512 kB) or provide a URL;
- Report contact — the e-mail issue reports go to (without it, none are delivered);
- Report e-mail (optional) — a separate address for automatic reports;
- Support contact (optional) — shown to users as a direct contact;
- Report language — Czech or English e-mails.
Adding a caster
In Settings → Casters you add your network's casters. The key field is Mountpoint:
- Empty mountpoint = the whole caster. Reports from all mountpoints on that host route to you. This is the common case when you own the whole
caster (e.g.
caster.yournetwork.com). - A specific mountpoint for shared casters (e.g. rtk2go), where mountpoints on one host belong to different people and you own only some. If you own several, add each as its own row. A mountpoint claim takes precedence over a whole-host claim.
Unsure? Leave the mountpoint empty. That covers everything on your caster and limits nothing.
Verification & states
A newly added caster is Pending verification. We verify it belongs to you, and only then does it become Verified and start delivering reports — so a bogus claim can't divert another network's reports. If more than one party claims a caster, we'll get in touch. Removing a caster stops delivery.
Connection QR
For each caster you can generate a QR code. A user scans it in the Fixcast app and the connection is pre-filled — no copying the address and mountpoint by hand. The QR can be downloaded as PNG or shared by link.
Field reports
When a user hits a stream problem in the app, they can send a report. It reaches you by e-mail and contains stream diagnostics (correction age, message cadence, the reference station's satellites, findings). The user may optionally attach a precise location — otherwise no location is sent. Reports also appear in the dashboard.
Network overview (dashboard)
A summary of your network's activity over the last few days, in four views:
- Overview — daily trend and key numbers;
- Map — where reports show up;
- Reports — the list of individual reports;
- Stations — the identity and diagnostics of your reference stations.
The dashboard works only with non-sensitive diagnostics; a user's precise location is never stored.
Remote support
When a user in the field needs help, they read you a 6-digit code from the app. You enter it in Remote support and start seeing their GNSS stream state live — verdict, findings and an RTCM message overview. The session is ephemeral: nothing is stored and it expires after a while. Location is relayed only approximately (~1 km), exact only on the user's explicit consent — and always live-only.
Server-side caster check (probe)
Want to check a caster without a user's phone? For a verified caster you
can enable a server-side check in Settings → Casters. Fixcast then
connects to the caster from the fixed IP 116.202.50.182 — add it to your
whitelist. Start the check in Remote support → Check my caster. It's off by default
(consent to connect to your own caster).
